We had such a wonderful time in Mexico and can't wait to go back. Looking to plan to your own trip? ✈ We flew @flyvolaris into Leon (BJX) 🚙 @zarcopremiumtravel handled our airport transfers and day trips (transportation + guides) 🏠 We stayed at an AirBnB (link in blog post) in Zona Centro. Everything we needed was at our doorstep. 👧👦 With kids, our highlights were: ✔ Grabbing ice cream in the plaza and admiring the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel. ✔ Swimming in the thermal pools at La Gruta Hot Springs ✔ Lunch at Hecho en Mexico and dinner at @quincerooftop ✔ Exploring Parque Juarez ✔ Churros from San Agustin ✔ Day trip to Guanajuato

After our fun outing to Angel Island last weekend, After our fun outing to Angel Island last weekend, we did something we never do: we stayed up in San Francisco for like another 5 hours! We found this cool spot in between the Outer Richmond and Sea Cliff neighborhoods that had this gorgeous staircase as well as a playground (with a parking lot!). New blog post all about Angel Island State Park! L New blog post all about Angel Island State Park! Link in bio. It is located in the San Francisco Bay and accessible from two ports (San Francisco, Pier 41 and Tiburon) by ferry boat. ⛴ There is a paved perimeter road (stroller friendly) as well as easier hikes to Mt Livermore. It's a very bike friendly island (BYO or rent on the island) and they also offer a tram tour. In non-Covid times, there's a restaurant, live music and Segway tours! I've lived in the Bay Area my entire life and this was my first time visiting.
