- Visit the Pedro Point Community Playground (directly behind the Pedro Point Firehouse, you will not see it from the road. Park along Danmann Drive and walk down. There is a sandpit so don’t forget your sand toys)
- Play at Montara State Beach (big waves but also a big beach area with softer sand)
- Explore Seal Cove Cypress Tunnel at JV Fitzgerald Marina Reserve
- Go kayaking in Half Moon Bay with Half Moon Bay Kayak Company
- Visit San Francisco – a fairly easy drive up Highway 1 and access Lake Merced, San Francisco Zoo and Golden Gate Park
